It contains evidence based information on the tobacco industry in [[South Asia]], with detailed profiles of tobacco companies relevant to the region and their employees. ''TUSouthAsia'' further describes the strategies adopted by the tobacco industry in the [[South Asia | region]] related to the themes of influencing policy, tobacco tax and price related issues, corporate social investments, tobacco cultivation and marketing and promotion. SARC-CCT is a project coordinated by the [http://cct.lk/ Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT)], the Sri Lankan tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo under the [[FCTC Article 5.3 | Article 5.3]] of the [[Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)]]. The mandate of the CCT is to monitor the tobacco industry activities related to implementation of [[FCTC Article 5.3]] in Sri Lanka and the [[South Asia | region]].

The project was powered by [http://www.who.int/fctc/secretariat/en/ Framework Convention on Tobacco Control(FCTC)Secretariat] and the [https://www.theunion.org/ International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The UNION)] and technical assistance was provided by the [http://www.bath.ac.uk/ Tobacco Control Research Group, University of Bath], the [http://www.tobacco.ucsf.edu/ Centre for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California San Francisco] and the WHO-FCTC Knowledge Hub on Article 5.3 [https://ggtc.world/ Global Centre for Good Governance in Tobacco Control].

SARC-CCT is a project coordinated by the [http://cct.lk/ Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT)], the Sri Lankan tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo under the [[FCTC Article 5.3 | Article 5.3]] of the [[Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)]]. The mandate of the CCT is to monitor the tobacco industry activities related to implementation of [[FCTC Article 5.3]] in Sri Lanka and the [[South Asia | region]].

SARC-CCT is a project coordinated by the [http://cct.lk/ Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT)], the Sri Lankan tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo under the [[FCTC Article 5.3 | Article 5.3]] of the [[Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)]]. SARC-CCT is a project coordinated by the [http://cct.lk/ Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT)], the Sri Lankan tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo under the [[FCTC Article 5.3 | Article 5.3]] of the [[Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)]]. The mandate of the CCT is to monitor the tobacco industry activities related to implementation of [[FCTC Article 5.3]] in Sri Lanka and the [[South Asia | region]].

SARC-CCT is a project coordinated by the [http://cct.lk/ Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT)], the Sri Lankan tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo under the [[FCTC Article 5.3 | Article 5.3]] of the [[Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC)]]. The mandate of the CCT is to monitor the tobacco industry activities related to implementation of [[FCTC Article 5.3]] in Sri Lanka and the [[South Asia | region]].

The project was powered by [http://www.who.int/fctc/secretariat/en/ Framework Convention on Tobacco Control(FCTC)Secretariat] and the [https://www.theunion.org/ International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The UNION)] and technical assistance was provided by the [http://www.bath.ac.uk/ Tobacco Control Research Group, University of Bath], the [http://www.tobacco.ucsf.edu/ Centre for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California San Francisco] and the WHO-FCTC Knowledge Hub on Article 5.3 [https://ggtc.world/ Global Centre for Good Governance in Tobacco Control].
